Across the country, a new trend is emerging among moms who are turning to microdosing psychedelic mushrooms as a natural remedy to ease stress and anxiety, potentially replacing alcohol and certain medications. Moms on Mushrooms founder Tracey Tee shared on NewsNation’s “On Balance” how microdosing helps her feel more present and less anxious—describing it as an "expander" for life, rather than a way to numb emotions.

Harvard Health defines a microdose as roughly one-fifth to one-half of a gram, and with the FDA granting breakthrough therapy status to psilocybin, research and clinical trials are moving quickly.
